
MISSION OF SBOCC:
The purpose and goals of Santa Barbara Outrigger Canoe Club is to foster national and international outrigger canoe competition and to generate public interest and support for these activities. SBOCC is dedicate to providing its members with opportunities to race, competing at all levels of competition; from local regional races to world championships in junior, open, master and senior masters divisions.
Consistent with its commitment to encourage and preserve outrigger canoe racing and to promote international Ho’okuku (competition), SBOCC actively organizes and promotes athletic and educational events and training in this traditional Hawaiian ocean sport for the benefit of the organization’s members and the local community.
OUR LOCATION:
SBOCC practice site is located on the beach next to Sea Landing at 301 W. Cabrillo Blvd, near the Santa Barbara Boat launch area. Look for the the yellow & white canoes. See map below or click on the google map button for

Congratulations to our Novice men this season that have consistently won 1st and 2nd in their division!
Also to our Open women at Ventura who came in 3rd and our Novice women (not pictured) who came in 3rd twice so far this season!
