Return to the Pier Race

Every year, SBOCC hosts this small craft race as part of the winter race series. Race details and registration can be found on PaddleGuru.
2026 Race Into:
Saturday, January 10
8:15 am - Short Course (5 miles)
10:00 am - Long Course (9 miles)
12:30 pm - Awards and affter party at Rincon Brewery www.rinconbrewery.com
Open ocean OC1, OC2, OC6, V1, Surfski, SUP, and Prone - 5 miles and 9 miles (no SUP or prone on the long course) races. There must be at least three registrants in a category to make it awardable.
If you are racing both the short and the long course, the total pre-entry fee will be $35. Day of race fee will be $40 for both.
For those of you racing OC2 or Surfski2, both paddlers must register.
For safety reasons, PFD and leashes WILL BE REQUIRED for all paddle vessels. Prone paddlers must have either a leash or a PFD. NO EXCEPTIONS!
VIRTUAL RACE - Can't make it to Santa Barbara? You can join us virtually! Just register and send us a picture of your race data (pic of Garmin time or any other time keeping device), and we will add your time to the results. Final virtual results will be posted once all of the data has been received
